Oven Roasted Smoked Sausage and Potatoes

A family-friendly, economical, and incredibly flavorful dish, ready in under an hour. The roasted potatoes become crispy, the smoked sausage adds an irresistible taste… and it all happens on a single baking sheet!

📝 Ingredients (serves 4)

400–500 g smoked sausage (such as kielbasa or smoked merguez)

700 g cubed potatoes

1 sliced ​​onion

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp thyme

Salt & pepper

(Optional) Sliced ​​bell peppers, fresh herbs, Parmesan cheese

👩‍🍳 Preparation

Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).

In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with the oil, paprika, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Add the onion and smoked sausage slices. Toss gently.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the potatoes are golden brown and the sausage is nicely charred.

Sprinkle with fresh herbs or Parmesan cheese before serving.

For extra crispiness: broil for 5 minutes.

For a more colorful version: add red and green bell peppers.
